Frequently Asked Questions

Where do we have lessons? Lessons can be taught for your convenience and comfort privately at your home or at the studio.

How long do lessons last? Generally each private lesson will take about 60 minutes but we're more than happy to work around your (I'm sure busy) schedule.

How many lessons does it take? There is no set minimum for lessons. It depends on what type of lesson you'd like, how difficult the steps/choreography is, how quickly you catch on, etc. Most couples who would like a choreographed piece tend to take 4-6 lessons. Unstructured lessons, 2-4 lessons. But everyone is different!

What do I wear? Something comfortable that you can move freely and easily in. Ladies, bring heels if you plan to wear them for the big day!

How much are lessons?  Please check out the details page for general pricing guidelines. Many factors go into the cost of lessons such as distance of where lessons are held, what type of lesson it will be, how many people are involved, etc. The best thing to do is to contact us! We're happy to work with all budgets.

Can I give lessons as a gift? Giving the gift of dance is the best gift of all! Lessons make fabulous wedding, engagement, anniversary, and birthday gifts!

Can you host Parties? Of course! Dance parties are the best! Grab some of your closest friends and get ready to dance. Some party ideas include bachelorette parties, birthday parties, or rehearsal dinners!

Can you come motivate my event? Absolutely! We also specialize in party motivation teaching your guests the hottest moves and leading your favorite line dances. We can be involved in your party as much or as little as you like!

Do you teach lessons other than for weddings? Absolutely! We are happy to teach dance in many different capacities. We can choreograph something special for any host of events or even auditions! We can also work on basic techniques in an unstructured lesson meant to get you more comfortable and confident on the dance floor. Come check out Sarah's hip-hop class at A Common Ground in Danbury.

Are you available to teach at my school, work, or studio? Sure! Just contact us for details!
